who we are
The core team here is a small band of grown-up professionals who know the industry inside out.
Over the years we’ve built up excellent relationships with talented and experienced creative people - copywriters, videographers, editors, designers, photographers, translators, web builders, printers and print finishers, stand designers and contractors. This gives us the flexibility to create a “dream team” for each project. You have the best people working on your job – not the people we happen to have on the payroll at this time. It also means you aren’t subsidising the wages of those not working on your project (or paying the overheads of a big oice to accommodate them). Pulling these project teams together, providing the unifying creative direction and ensuring that due attention is paid to the commercial practicalities, is a skill in itself – this is where the in-house escape team add even more value.

n Brand development and logo design n Creative design for brochures, magazines and reports n Print production and buying n Advertising campaigns, including creative concepts, art direction and copywriting n Exhibition stand design, build and project management n Videography n Exhibition graphics and assets and photography n Web design and build n Virtual tour photography
We are experts in all these disciplines and have many years of hard-won experience. Equally important, we have the project management capabilities to pull everything together perfectly... but if you want to work with uber-cool hipsters we’re probably not your first choice (or second…). If, however, you want a team whose experience covers not just digital but also print and traditional advertising, smart creativity but none of the flaky temperament that usually comes too, the ability to understand your unique challenge and the project management skills to deliver when your life depends upon it, then we are your people.

how we successfully run and operate our projects
Contract Management and Quality Assurance Contracts and projects are managed by Pete Surma, who will have overall responsibility for the successful completion of work. Peter will manage creative execution and oversee artwork production, ensure adherence to brand guidelines and produce, verify and check all artwork for production and end use suitability; he also oversees the art-working studio with Martin Williams (Senior Graphic Designer), who, in conjunction with and under the supervision of Peter, is charged with the production of the artwork. Procedures, Quality Assurance and Timescales All projects are allocated individual job numbers and a central job bag is created which holds all communication including briefings, quotes, purchase orders, all amendments, delivery instructions, any specific requirements and other relevant documentation. Any changes in projects that may mean an increase (or indeed a decrease) in cost are
immediately communicated, discussed and agreed with the customer prior to further commencement. These job bags are the central point for all information throughout the duration of the project – all information relating to the project is contained here and is accessible to all members of staff. Time sheet implementation, with individual job numbers entered to monitor efficiency, is in place to allow us to determine the effects of our own procedures and methods of working. Continually, throughout any one job, we proof and check all work. This culminates with official sign-off procedures for all artwork and printers’ proofs where applicable. All projects are scheduled into production with a timeline working back from the project delivery date. This scheduling is constantly reviewed and monitored with relevant parties given clear critical dates identified, thereby ensuring the achievement of end dates whatever the requirement.

Monitoring and controlling will fall within the remit of Peter Surma. In conjunction with the Martin Williams, Peter will quality check and sign-off all aspects of each project regarding its suitability for the end purpose. This is a separate procedure to the client sign-off. All production proofs will also go through this procedure. Timelines are established as the project ‘goes live’ and critical deadlines (copy, photography, artwork release, proof approvals etc) circulated to relevant parties.
